The Parkers Crossroads Information
Center
is located at 20650 Hwy 22 North in Parkers Crossroads.
This authentic
pre-civil war "dog trot" style log cabin was relocated in the 1990’s to its
present location to
serve
as the interpretive center for the Parkers Crossroads Battlefield. This
facility, located south of I-40,
houses a diorama of the Battle of Parkers Crossroads.
Also
located at the Log Cabin is Eastern National's Parkers Crossroads Bookstore &
Gift Shop. Opened
in the southern room of the cabin, Eastern National operates educational
retail stores in more than 130
National Parks and other public trusts. The store offers products, programs and
publications with a strong
educational value. Eastern National is non-profit organization that donates
their proceeds to the National
Park Service and their other partners. Since 1947, Eastern National has donated
over $100 million to the
