Parker's Crossroads Battlefield

In the spirit of General Forrest, Freeman's
Battery Forrest's Artillery Camp 1939
Sons of Confederate Veterans quietly erected a monument at Parker's Crossroads,
TN. in memory of Captain John Watson Morton, Jr. and his outstanding battery.
The monument was uncovered and flowers
placed on December 27, 2007,
which is the 145th anniversary of the founding of Morton's Battery.
The monument will be dedicated June 14, 2008 during the
Battle of Parker's Crossroads "Living
